Endangered Animals Research

What causes some animals to become threatened or endangered? Why should we care if endangered animals become extinct, anyway?

Explore the following resources to build your understanding of endangered animals. Take notes on what you learn in the Endangered Animals Graphic Organizer on page 1 of your Engineering Portfolio.

Habitat Loss

After researching information from the websites and completing the graphic organizer, explore the following slideshow.

Teacher Note

At the beginning of the activity, ask students to turn to page 1 of their Engineering Portfolios . This page contains the Endangered Animals Graphic Organizer. Ask students to work independently to explore the suggested resources and take notes.
